Just drove behind a 2005 V8 Hybrid Land Cruiser. Was I dreaming?

I cannot find anything on it online. Can't even find info on V8's from 2005-6, let alone a hybrid V8...

I only partly remember the Dutch licenseplate, 69-R_-R_, which places it as a 2005-2006 car (Dutch numberplates have a logic to it so you can estimate the age of the car).

Best guess now is that it was someone who ripped off some Toyota badges and put a "V8" badge AND a "Hybrid Synergy Drive" badge on a, possibly, diesel Land Cruiser , but I still am intrigued enough to ask you guys.

I was planning on filling out all license plate numbers (narrowed it down to *only* 100 possible combinations), but the governmental site where I can find carinfo based on the license plate threw me out after 10 tries saying I had requested too much licenseplatenumbers and must therefor be a company (and probably have to pay).
