    Before yesterday, I had 300 miles on the tank and was in great shape for hitting my 1st 600 mile tank... but I got called to do a 225 mile round trip interstate trip ... I got 55 on the trip there (favorable wind and apparently grade) however due to being in a hurry coming home, speeding, and head wind.. only got 48 on the way home.
    So with 525 miles on the tank, the displaying showing average of 57.2, the blinking single light came on... so like a wimp, I went and filled up. It took 9.5 gallons.
    57.2 on the display, 55 actual.
    so with almost 2 1/2 gallons left, I could have EASILY went another 100 miles if not more...
    I guess that blinking light freaks me out.... #wimpy

    fwiw, my drive home from the gas station after reset;
    2.8 miles
    avg speed 20 mph
    91.5 consumption

    Its gonna be heartbreaking watching it fall!!!!

    Lol, that's funny.

    Don, you should use Codyroo's (David) MFD X 10 in future when trying to achieve a 600 mile tank. MFD X 10 = ~10.5g. It seems pretty accurate as long as you fill up the same way each time. I never top off and stop at the first click and for me MFD X 10 will always be between 10.5-10.7 gallons used.
    It is a nice quick easy way to get an estimate of how much gas is left.
