"K-car is short for Kei Jidousha, which is Japanese for "light vehicle". By regulation they must be less than 4.4 metres long and 1.5 metres wide (smaller than a Mini), have an engine less than 660cc and be no more than 64 horsepower." (I could've sworn that it's 68hp instead)

Anyway, only the vans are in the K-car category. The other vehicles are just sub sub compact cars. The link is below

    Wrong information.
    The K-car regulation is...
    length: less than 3.40 m
    width: less than 1.48 m
    height: less than 2.00 m

    Wow, another mistake lol.

But am I right about the 68hp vs 64hp stated on the site?

    It is 64PS(pferdestrake:French) and 64 X 0.9863 = 63.1HP(horse power:English).
We have a lot of interesting K-cars here in Japan.

    For example...
Fancy open two seater called Daihatsu Copen.

Simple single seat truck called Dihatsu Midget.
