LED Headlights

    Hey guys,

    did anyone noticed a 3rd source of light when the LED low beams were on?

    There are two circular projectors for the LEDs (I'm sure everyone noticed that) but there's a 3rd source of light above the two projectors. In my video, it looked like a 3rd projector so I decided to take a closer look.

    On mrv's photo of the headlight, it seems to be reflecting off a reflector surface mounted above and slightly recessed of the two projector lights.

    Supposedly close up illumination for things not directly within the projector's beam. This is how the Lexus 3+1 is "touted".

    also read how led's on prius will retain 90% of their lighter after 15 years, on prius minisite :)...

    Speaking of Lexus LS600h LED's, the sub LED is located below projector lamps.
    It is for wide angle/short distance illumination, (d) of the 2nd picture.

    The levels were "announced" prematurely then pulled. There were 4 specific base trim levels before option codes. 1229 was Leather w/ LED.
