Found this in the front passenger's footwell. Cover behind the glovebox for the cabin air filter's enclosure?

It goes under the passenger seat, at the front. I have the exact thing in my Prius, as does probably everyone else.

Indeed. From the Toyota part number molded into the plastic (58569-12010), it’s the front floor caution plate cover, shown in parts catalog Figure 58-04, Mat & Carpet with part name code 58569D.

To deter theft, the vehicle identification number (or in Japan, the frame number) is stamped on the body; it’s normally concealed by this cover.

You are welcome. I noticed it last year when I first bought my Prius and though it was a decent idea.
And figured they put the notice there incase it was stolen the cops, or dealer, could match it with the others.
And I half noticed it and thought about it when I was unloading my a few hours ago.
    So good timing!
I had also found a cover when I was checking the spare, that had NO AIR pressure the day after purchase, because it was raining! I couldn't find where it went until I saw a video of how to get the
deck lid open if the 12v battery is dead. I just wanted to check it out, no cover. So I installed it. :)
