My 2010 Prius hit a really bad pothole last night and the front left tire blew out. I changed the tire out and it's driving OK but some issues remain.
    1. ABS, Traction and ((!)) lights are all on.
    2. Braking is a little bit loose, not engaging as quickly when I push the pedal in.
    3. Looked in the wheel well where I changed the tire and noticed that there is a loose wire which seems to have popped off from somewhere.

Do you think this is a dealer issue or is this something that I can bring to my more trusted local mechanic?

An independent mechanic who knows a Prius would be good. Otherwise, yes, the dealer is next. Be prepared for a laundry list of "overdue and necessary repairs" from the dealer. However, after hitting a pothole, most of what they will suggest might be necessary.

Speed sensor? Even if you are able to reconnect it, the system may need Techstream intervention? And there may be further damage, that sounds quite violent.

Unless "trusted local mechanic" has Techstream and is Prius specialist, I'd head straight for a dealership.

Prius Regenerative Brakes, are obviously very specific to Prius.
    Plus...you might have other issues.
I'd be taking a loan out and heading for your dealership.

Find where the loose wire is connected to, it probably popped out from a connector or it might be damaged. Post up some pictures for us to help. It's hard to help if there's no pictures for us to judge.

It could be just a simple job, or it could be a more advance job depending on the condition of the damage.
