I am looking into the Xenon headlight conversion. I have heard that they can melt the plastic lens cover. Is this true? I also want to add the daylight running lights relay as well do they work together? The OEM style fog lights are a snap to install and work great!

I assume you mean HIDs and not xenon like halogens.

You can install aftermarket HIDs on both the Genii and Geniii and not have any problems with melting. The Geniii has factory projectors which direct the light beam in a more controlled and safe (for you and other drivers) manner. The Genii uses a halogen reflector lens and it just casts light everywhere so I do not recommend HIDs for the Genii except in the case where the car came with HIDs from the factory.

Be sure to stick with 5000k or 4300K bulbs so you don't look like a tool running around with blue headlights.
