I have '05 Prius, and I'd like to plug in appliances like inverter, cooler, etc. I'd like to get 100W out of the cigarette plug or direct wiring.

Anyone know if this is feasible?

    Thanks in advance

    Ah, cross-posting, eh?

Yes, the cig lighter circuit (protected to 15A) can supply 100W just fine. Just watch the start-up draw of the appliances. Leave the car in "ready" mode to keep from discharging the aux battery.

Wired directly to the 12v system, the car can supply 1000W or more.

Wired directly to the HV system, the car can power a house!
