My car has misfire issue on all cylinders. I have tried everything like replacing plugs, coils, fuel injectors, PCV, MAF and thorttle cleaning, fuel system cleaners etc.. but those misfires still present and increasing in frequency.

I have read somewhere on this website about ERG cleaning/replacing can solve this issue but couldn't find exact location of ERG valve.

My cars is Prius 2007 (gen 2) G-touring model.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Welcome to PriusChat !!

The gen2 doesn't have a EGR circuit like the gen3/gen4.

What OBD2 scanner were you using to read the codes (DTCs) with, and which codes did you retrieve ?

How many miles are on the vehicle, and how long have you owned it ?

    @SFO thanks for your reply.

I am using Techstream and codes are random like p0301, p0302, p0303, p0304 (more frequent), so all are related to misfires on cylinders.

In start it was only p0304

Vehicle has miles of 200k so far and i owned it from 150k.

If this car has no EGR, is there something else that can cause this issue?
I have also heard about timing control issue. Is there something that i can set?

Talk about the engine maintenance. How often is the oil changed and where and what type of oil is used? How often do you pull the dipstick and check the oil level?
Has the car ever ran so low on engine oil it lodged a red triangle on the dash?

@edthefox5 i change oil after every 3k km and i use 20 - 50 oil. (If i use 5 - 20, it rarely last till 1500 km and burns away).

I check dipstick after every 2 weeks. Engine is burning oil and every time its level decreases like on 3k km about 1 litter oil burns but i add more oil to keep its level before reaching to 3k km.

Yes in very start (when car was 150k) engine ran low on oil but red triangle didn't appear.

Have you done an engine compression test or cylinder leakdown test? If you have not, now is the time to do so,

Based upon the excessive oil consumption and engine misfire, I would say it is likely the engine is worn out. The solution is to replace or rebuild the engine. Usually it will be much cheaper to install a used engine.
