    where do i find the VIN number? plate on the car

    i cant seem to locate it! onder the hood!!!

    By the base of the windshield or on the sticker on the driver's side door jamb.

    The VIN is on the dash in front of the driver's seat, right at the edge where the windshield meets the hood. It is very hard to see. It is MUCH easier to open the driver's door, and look at the door jamb.

    funny thing about my number that there is no year dgit! ITS zero:confused:
    called toyota about it and checked the number and its ok! the car is from july 2005
