Lockpick question.

I am looking into purchasing a lockpick kit for my prius, but wanted to ask one question before I place my order. Does the video playback work while the car is driving or is it just while in park? If so is there any way to make it work while driving.....I understand the legality issue I am on my own....but quite frankly my windows are tinted so dark that no one would be able to see it any way....and plus have some roadtrips coming up that being the passenger on part of it I would like to benefit from it too. Thanks all....
