    I can host a BBQ at my house (in Nassau), or I can set up something at a local park or shopping mall...

    anyone down? Sat or Sun?

    shhh....Dennis...there's no use in buying the cow if you're just gonna give the milk away for free :D


    Sat or Sunday don't matter...let's pick a day, a date and tell me what you want on the grill :D ( I don't do weird stuff like aligator or monkey balls, not that I would think anybody would eat monkey balls or anything...just sayin)

    I am located in Levittown, NY and parking is quite plentiful

    if we can get a steady group (small or big) I'd like to hold weekly meets if possible

    I already have great picturesque spots for photoshoots and I own a Nikon D300s DSLR with an assortment of lenses

    I plan to have weekly meets (at least while the weather is good)....I also plan to make an official LI Prius club of sorts with decals...I would like our priuses on the proverbial "map" for more than being fuel efficient cars...I want the world or at least NY to see the prius for more

    sound good?

    There is already Long Island Prius Owners Group, founded in 2006, LIPOG.org is the current website. We have members of LI, Queens, Brooklyn, SI, Manhattan and Westchester Counties.
    We used to have monthly meets but these were discontinued about a 2 years ago for lack of interest of their participants and shortage of freebies/giveaways to the members.
    I'm unable to show this weekend, to short of a notice.

    I see the reasoning behind this: (i am going to be blunt)

    1) you need a login just to access the homepage- LAME!
    2) freebies to come out to meets?? COME ON THATS WEAKSAUCE!

    meets should be about the cars and the people which should be enough incentive...

    people will show to MY meets...why? because I am PIMP like that :D

    So I just registered for this site LIPOG.org and I have to say, I'm quite disappointed. For a guy who made it sound like the site has been around since the inception of the Prius, you have a long way to go...theres no postings besides the Admin.

    The site looks like it was created in a rushed 15min timespan last week. I am more than willing to contribute to that site if someone needs.
