Long Wait In Knoxville

    2008 Prius
    On May 2, I put down $500 (refundable) towards a Prius. Today I got a phone call from the sales associate stating that the car would arrive at Knoxville Toyota sometime between the 13th - 18th of June. This works out to about seven weeks between order and delivery, if the car is indeed delivered in that time slot.

    The data point I get from this is that your dealer knows what they'e getting 2-3 weeks before the vehicle's arrival.

    I may get the phone call from my dealer next Friday or Saturday if the allotment works in my favor. So I might be looking at the 20th-27th, all things being the same.
