    Thought I asked these questions before, but can't find the thread.

    Are there any years in the second generation to avoid?

    Is there a way to view an archive of CEL codes?

    • Not really, but generally the 2006 (11/05) - 2009 is considered a better model (after the mid-gen refresh). As bisco says the generalist advice is the newer the better;
    • No, once they are cleared (either manually or via system cycles) they are gone. There are a couple of fields in the live data where you can see the minutes (or is hours??) since the code were last cleared.
