All cars I'm looking at are Gen 2 all posted on car fax as well but I’m just name of 2!… well maintained since bought originally in 2008 at Toyota dealerships it’s 2008 with 158k miles battery replaced in 2022 and since that time other things have been replaced brakes, belt computers checked etc $5,995 ( most likely talk em down ) then same situation but with a 2007 but with 190k miles for $5,495

At a Toyota dealership means everything is on the up and up?
If so, either is fine, but the 08 with a new oem battery (if they can prove it) seems better.
Still, with a 20 year old car, be prepared for a lot of repairs

Gen2 Prius with more than 150K miles usually sell for less than $5K if you're buying from an honest seller, which a Toyota Stealership is not... What part of Washington do you live in? I'm in Olympia area and regularly help people buy Prius and also have some to sell...

Right now I'm working on cleaning up / restoring a Gen3 that's a 2010 w/150K miles that I got for a good price. I'm gonna put a new hybrid battery in it and new 12volt and find out what else it needs.

Usually a Prius that sits around for a long time with dead batteries in this part of the country stays in good condition as long as mold stains don't get to the upholstery first. So far so good on this one with mold... Interior is cleaning up really well on this one. And while Gen3 have more maintenance issues, people seem to think it's a smoother ride with better mpg. I'll update you once I get some batteries in it and see if I can drive it home.

Someone like yourself would be an ideal person to sell to because you're already familiar with Prius maintenance issues and you'd be pleased with how much lower all my prices are compared what everyone else charges.
