    Hello all.

We recently purchased a 2007 Prius. I didn't notice on the two test drives we took, but the passenger side mirror housing is loose and shakes at highway speeds.

It's loose at the 'folding' joint. I found three star headed screws at the bottom of the mirror base (the part that attaches to the car), but those are tight. It's the upper section that's loose.

I'm hoping it's just a couple screws that need tightened down, but I don't know how to access those screws. Can I get them by taking the mirror itself off? Taking the color plastic off? Something more extreme?

Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

There are some screws behind the cover and some more behind the mirror. The cover is easier to remove with the mirror removed. I don't know if those are your problem, just that they are there.
