All maybe not a thing on k series from that maker . Real debacle rt now chk Autel forums real mess . You need a wireless way to read transponder and Immo info from start button area of car you open door have a good 12 V have you're receiver ready and hold hoop over start button hitting button device . Device pulls ID4 immo info out of car to my device that info burns to a new ID4 compatible remote or whatever protocol is detected they're are many from diff manufactured. Good luck . Londsor k518 watch full videos on a 10 Prius .

Google UK londsor k518 all keys lost wireless . It's how these protocols for immo work. All these kids running around with the likes of flippers etc. can easily intercept immo info . Course they've to know what to do with. Old code grabbing etc. yes this how they steal too.

the idea that the car itself broadcasts the information needed to authenticate to it is the most surprising thing i've heard this week

Watch the video I'm getting ready to purchase the 518 fv didcthis with a locked launch 438 I think is number of tool it reads of the start button and stop at ID4 which is one of the protocols used in the proximity system and then the launch stops reading because of the nastf AKL debacle I'm guessing. The way I understand it is when you push the start button you wake system and system looks to handshake with fob the antennae I holding over the start button is picking up that data and I'm looking at it on screen. I cannot broadcast this far if I move the receiver 1 or 2 inches no pickup signal I've tried it.
