Nautical Blue Metallic.... such a beautiful car.

I drive 50 Miles to work and 50 Miles home. We traded in a 97 Nissan Pathfinder that was getting 14mpg (spent 600 a month in gas) for the prius.... Should spend 200 or so on gas a month plus a 342 car payment... I'm paying less to drive the Prius than the Pathfinder.

We've had it for 2 days and I could not be more in love with a car. I average around 49mpg and the tech features rock.

Plan on washing it this weekend to baby it. Just wanted to say hello and I'm happy to be part of such a revolutionary family. This thing has truly changed the way I drive, can't say the same for my wife... HEAVY FOOT!

    Yay! Welcome!

It's always great to see amazing gas mileage and low fueling costs vs. a vehicle that's much thirstier. I'd get about 1/2 the mileage on my former 350Z (vs. my Prius) and it required premium as well.

I have a lead foot and still get 48 mpg on average! Went from a 600 hp Cadillac CTS-V @ 18 mpg on premium and a hefty car payment to my Prius about 4 months ago. Would do it all over again!

    Congrats!
You did the math and found a great and economical solution that puts you ahead.
For the life of me I just can't figure out why I still see so many single occupant 12-17mpg hulking SUV's on the road. The fuel costs must be killing their owners? Do these ppl like working for gas money?
