My MPG have been great for the first 4000 miles. Average around 48-50. I had the oil changed last month--at the dealer--and my MPG the last 2 tanks has been around 44. I checked the oil level and it seems fine...so, the mpg change is just a coincidence, right?
    This is driving me batty....

More likely they "adjusted" your tire pressure to be helpful.

Put it back where you had it and your mileage should respond. I've only had two oil changes in the 9000 miles so far, and noticed a slight mileage improvement each time. But that coincided with the weather and the engine warming up over time.

Damn...the tire presure, good point. I bet they lowered it. I had kept it slightly above the recomended PSI. I bet the Toyota tech lowered it....

    thanks.
