McPherson strut removal

    Started to tear Down front drivers side strut until I got to 3rd mounting screw on top of strut. It's tough to get to and needs a 12 point 12 mm offset wrench, not the 12mm standard wrench I used to strip it with. Anyway, has anyone changed their mc strut and beside the PITA area to work in, is their any advise on how to here. 2006 Prius

    I haven't done this job yet, but the AlldataDIY shop manual says to pull the wiper arms, wiper motor and cowl to gain access to the top strut mounting bolts.
