This message comes on dash board when I turn vehicle off, when I used google translate the text read as 'battery remaining ht'. Should I be worried? Can someone suggest what needs to be done please. image.jpg

What we have here, is a failure to communicate.

Doesn't The Prius warn you when the battery in your Fob get's low?

I think the first thing you have to determine is why your Prius, conceivably imported to and sold in North America is evidently set to give you warning messages in Japanese.

I'd just let a dealership navigate the language barrier.

If it's just a warning message, there might not be any codes associated with it.

Better picture would help, but I believe the previous post above is correct, the key fob battery needs to be replaced.

If it's been about 2 years since the fob battery has been replaced, change them. 3v lithium CR1632 button cell.

    You're assuming an awful lot.

Judging from the license plate visible thru the windshield I'd be very surprised if he were in North America.

    I would guess Sri Lanka.

    My bad.

I still think there is a Prius to Owner language barrier that needs to be crossed.

The message says that your key battery has little life remaining.
    キー Key
    バッテリー Battery
    残り Remaining
    わずか Slight

To remedy, replace the battery in your smart key.

    Wow thanks a lot.

And to answer your query, I'm from Sri Lanka, Colombo to be exact. We have Japanese domestic models imported and that's why the communication barrier.

    Thanks again.
