MFD Color Survey

After labor day we switched to Orange to match the xm radio color

closer to holloween

 

I take exception with your survey.
I have "blue" but it isn't "old", it's Base model MFD screen blue.
Only the Touring models have fewer choices

 

Blue is OK and Orange is just OK. My son likes the orange, so he is always changing it.

I WANT MORE COLOR CHOICES

can someone post what the old ones look like i have an 07 and would like to see the other colors

 

I like the orange but my wife likes the green so we compromised and put it in green.

 

I switched to Orange after the woodtrim installed.

 

I rotate my screen color monthly. I am concerned about burn in, so I change it every month. I don't know if it matters or not, but I do it anyway.

 

I like to customize things, especially when it comes to software. I had to go back to the default green color in my '06 though because I just am not a fan of the orange. Maybe in honor of Hallowe'en this year I'll set it to orange for a month

I really wish I could just drop in my own graphics and choice of interfaces though. I'll have to give Toyota a call and see if they'll give me the source code!

I like the idea of a seasonal switch. I think I'll do that this year - switch to the orange display for the month of October. It'll be a new Halloween tradition! I agree about the graphics - too bad they can't be adjusted as well. Instead of little green cars we could have a 'bat' or 'pumpkin' option. Hell, maybe Toyota could offer a special seasonal MFD theme for each month of the year...

 

I'll go with Evan. That looks about right. Black background at night though.
