MFD died.... sort of

2 weeks ago I got in my 09 Pri to go to work. I reached over to the MFD and touched a button on the diplay (I think I was trying to reposition the navigation screen) when I noticed it would not respond to touch input. I proceeded to try other screens and noticed a few peculiariites: When I touch the INFO button, then any other icon on the screen, it always brings up the navigation map. This is the only screen whose icons repsond in any way. All other icons on all other screens are dead.

Strange thing. The dealer is going to replace it under warranty but I'm curious if anyone else has seen this before.
