MFD momentarily dims

    My wife informed me the other day that the MFD has occasionally dimmed for a split second while driving. I checked for codes with a generic scanner (Innovo 3130 ). There was nothing active but she had a DC-DC converter fault stored in her historical data, under enhanced DTC's. She says it hasn't happened in awhile so that would make sense. I'm assuming the DTC is related to the dimming issue. Any insight into what it might be?

    could be a loose wire or the beginning of the infamous mfd failure.
