My spaceship turned 20000 miles last night- picked it up 1/24/06 so that is a lot of driving for me in 1 year!

I have not been resetting the MFD. It was 48.0 until about 3 weeks ago when the cold spell hit.

I bought gas today at 20020- it was down to 47.6.

I think the next 10000 miles I am going to reset each tank and see how it compares to my calculation.

here is the picture after my fillup today- driving the final mile to work!

I also had not reset the MFD, and was hovering around 47.5 for quite a while. Didn't notice a change when I increased tire air pressure. But I reset it last week, and on this tank (3/4 of the way gone), I'm averaging 53.4 mpg. I didn't change my driving habits, so I think the car is actually doing a bit better than when I first got it (I'm at 24,500 mileage right now, original tires - never rotated - with 42/40 in them since November).
