Hello, sorry to up old thread but i dont think this is reason to open new one.
I have 2014 Toyota Auris Hybrid, same Gen3 hybrid system as in prius gen3.

Question is what mini vci to buy so it supports my car? I read from somewhere that ebay pirate 1.4.1 versions wont support newer vehicles like mine, is that true?
All of those seem to be J2534 etc, but what to look for?

Reason why i would like to get techstream, is that maybe with that i can program tpsm. My car only remembers 4 tires and everytime i have to change winter tires/summer tires i have to go dealer and pay 40€ to get tpsm fixed.

Edit: uh didnt notice that this is in gen1 section...

Ok so update to this, all thought maybe this thread should be on "other toyota hybrids" section, but posted this here with Prius cars, since it shares prius 3 hybrid tech.
    Well anyway:

    1. Ordered this cable from amazon.de: "Fotga Neueste V8.00.034 MINI VCI für Toyota Tis Techstream Kabel & Softwar, sold by Fotga
    2. Found my old mini emachines e250 laptop from storage and installed original win xp 32bit to it.
    3. Waited...waited....and waited.
    4. Finally cable arrived, i installed drivers and techstream v12.10.019 instead of what came with cd.
    5. Got it working and finally after trying to figure out what configuration shoud select since techstream did not automaticly fully detect everything.
    6. TPMS menu found and works o/ Also disabled reverse continues beep and some minor light modifications.

Summary: Random J2534 cable works with 2014 Toyota Auris TS Hybrid what shares Prius Gen3 Hybrid tech.

    Thank you @bisco !

Hopefully i dont need to read any problem codes from my Auris what is driven only 17k kilometers(previous owner was old gentlemen). But nice to have tool what can do all kind a stuff if needed.

Years years back i had VCDS Lite for my Skoda Fabia -02 and it helped me alot.

Hi. I know this thread is very old but was wondering What vehicle did you end up selecting in Techstream?

I want to scan a friends auris hybrid and have the same problem. It isn’t an option in the drop down list?

    Hello.
Check car VIN. Its something like ZWE180 etc. That is the vehicle type what should be selected. After that there is three different modelf at least for me. Selecting different ones affects does the Techstream even show tpms for example. So its worth to try em all.
