Priapus has picked up some rattles. It sounds like it's in the front-passenger area under the bumper. So I took a look. What I saw was that there are 2 or 3 pieces that look like they are held together by a bolt, now missing. So I rolled my creeper over to the driver's side and found that the exact same place was missing the exact same bolt.

I've taken two pictures. Did I actually lose the same bolt on both sides of the car? I find that odd. Possible in the grand scheme of the universe, but odd.

The screwdriver, of course, shows exactly where it looks like there should be bolts.

A black plastic fastener is supposed to fit into each hole, not a screw or bolt.

I may not be missing bolts, but I have a screw loose.

    I've never been bolted.

It's a 7mm push center clip plastic rivet. Toyota use 7mm on the Prius. 8mm is too large.

the noise could be coming from that screw driver as it drags along the ground I would remove that first and see if it stops the noise

    sorry I couldn't resist
