Different beast. You might be more interested in inverter coolant temp, M1 stator temp, M2 stator temp and traction battery cell state of charge (cell balance) as you experience more PHEV use.

What would be the best OBD app to use with a Bluetooth OBD dongle?

I use the Scangauge 2. It's set up to read 12 volt battery voltage, radiator coolant temperature, inverter coolant temperature and high voltage battery temperature.

The new Scangauge III is spiffy.

I used to use a Scangauge II, but found it was causing system errors, possibly due to constantly weighing on the OBD port. On the other hand, others have had no such problems.

Yeah, used to be every car had a coolant gauge, very handy. Frustrating that Toyota nixed that on Prius. How about their other vehicles, same story??

You can add gauges to get a few different readouts, but you won't get oil pressure as the car does not have a pressure sending unit.

All it knows is whether the emergency low pressure switch is open or closed.

You could add a sending unit and combine the readout with CAN-derived data on a 3rd party display, it's been done.

A mechanical oil pressure gauge can be added with a tube to the M18x1.5 oil filter adapter plug. This is the same type with a 10mm hex socket used for the transaxle drain and fill.
