I have seen on you tube a guy using a blue tooth to android converter to monitor the module voltages in the Prius traction battery. It is plugged in to the obd2 port and communicates with his cell phone. I would like to do the same thing but there is no mention of the device brand in the video.

Does anyone know what devices can do this? The device can be seen here irddAVZaJb4 at this you-tube video.

    Thanks for any help.

Here's a buyer's guide for the OBD2 reader: Hybrid battery diagnostic and repair tool for Toyota and Lexus
Make sure you buy from someone with an awesome return policy because even the best readers are too often dead on arrival.

Dr. Prius App for Android and IOS is my favorite to use, but there's lots of other options too...

    Hybrid Assistant App (free)

    Works great.
