Motorazr V3M/Verizon VZW/Contact Transfers

This may already be on here, may even be on this forum...I apologize if that is indeed the case.

In my searches I have seen a lot of people having problems getting their contacts from a Motorazr V3M into the phone books in the MFD. I have figured it out and here it is:

First, check your V3M's software version...mine is: NEWC_01.09.02
Go to MENU
Go To SETTINGS AND TOOLS
Go to SYSTEM (5)
Go to DEVICE INFO (2)
Go to OTHER INFORMATION
Go to S/W VERSION

If your software version is older than 01.09.02 then call Verizon and ask them if you can update your V3M to the latest software version, because the next section will not work for you until you do!


Now, you are sitting in the car:

Get to the phone section of the MFD.
Select PHONE BOOK.
Select TRANSFER.
Select a GROUP (and add to it if you already have one...).
The MFD will display a transfer waiting screen.

Highlight a contact in your V3M'S contacts list.
Select the contact.
Select options (bottom right hand corner).
Select Send V-Card (6)
Select Hands-Free

Your phone will tranfer the data, the MFD will receive. Wait for it to finish, and repeat for every other contact. Unfortunately, there is no way to do them all at once, only one at a time.
