Motorola V710 with Verizon

Hi All,
I have been reading and reading all the different posts about getting the bluetooth in the prius to work. I have seen a couple of people that say they have gotten their V710 to work and other say they haven't been able to

My questions are:
Can anyone answer a V710 with Verizon service from the phone pick up button on the steering wheel?

I understand the phonebook won't transfer, but can I add to the phone book manually? I don't have many contacts, 25 total maybe and it wouldn't be a horrible thing to add them.
