just curious about something. i know the oem stereo in my gen 2 prius plays mp3 on disk, but does anyone know how many folders deep it will accept the music files to be located?

    folder - artist
    folder - album
    mp3 - song

will an mp3 song "2 folders deep" still be recognized?

Keep it simple, it's easily confused. Edit the file names to be less than 20 characters.

If you have less than 255 songs on a "playlist" just save unto root folder.

However, having one subfolder - artist name - makes it easier to browse.

It can handle 1024 files in a subfolder, but only 255 at the root. Max I ever put was 350-ish in a subfolder (50's 60's songs) that are 2megs each at 128kps.
