mp3 play stuck in repeat using Voice command

Week old 2014 Prius TSpirit, in UK.

Using the USB mp3 play voice commands results in a track selected being stuck in repeat.
Saying "play song <>" or "play album <>" (where <> is the name) results in a track continuously playing. Clicking skip merely restarts it.

Even in an album with several tracks the one selected, using the voice command ("line x"), results in it's continued playing.

The only way out of this is to manually go to the main mp3 screen menus and select another tune. Skipping up and down tracks then works.

Is this a bug or deliberate, weird japanese thinking?!
