I have looked all over the sight to find the answer, but can't....
maybe someone here can shed a little light?
I am curious if the 06 prii will have a display to show the contents of the mp3 players....
seems a lot safer to me

I guess we won't know until we actually get the car.

I expect it will show the name of the track. The CD player shows the Disc name and song title (filename) if you use a CD with CD TEXT.

I don't think I own any cds new enough to have cd text....

I was suprised to find out that acura has the input in the glove box!!!

Gave me some hope when I read that its located in the center console for the prius.

If toyota is putting so much attention so safety, youd think they'd stop someone from trying to read their nanopod while they are driving!!

I doubt it will display text, because to do so would require the adapter to be specialized for the ipod, and so they would call it an ipod adapter rather than an mp3 adapter.
