My Garmin is also a mp3 player. I've never used an mp3 before, so I'm looking for recommendations on software to convert my CDs over. I'll likely only ever use the mp3 player function in my wifes car, since it doesn't have a CD player. So I don't need many bells and whistles.

    Thanks

You probably already have Windows Media Player. That will do it. Programs like MusicMatch are available at no cost (basic program), plus many other downloadable programs. Burning at 96 or lower will sound fine on your Garmin.
