mpg changes if parking on hill?

    I am not sure, but at my house, when i park, i park on a sharp decline. it seems like my mpg is always really good there.

    or it seems like if i stop at my house but get distracted, and have car in idle, and say, I am talking, for 5 minutes, then turn it off, i have great gas mileage.

    is this possible or coincidence?
