Here is a quick pic of my 2008 prius I just got 2 weeks ago. Just sprayed the stock wheels with plasti-dip and tinted the windows!

Yes! you can get it in a spray form at home depot. It's about $6/can and you will need 3 or 4 cans. This stuff is also pretty easy to work with and it stands up to pressure washers just fine too!

Looks nice, with all the dark a set of DRL's might look nice...
Here is how I solved the problem...

I am going to be interested in how the Plasti-dip holds up. Did you get the type that is UV resistant? I looked into this, and they make RED with extra UV protection. That means the color will not fade as quick as without the protection! With my red 08, red wheels might look good!
Welcome to the group, you are going to enjoy the car!

Hey there! I like your color matched wheels:) What made you go with H&R springs VS. eibach pro kit? I'm curious because it might be my next move!

Did you take the tires off to paint the wheels?

If not how did you keep the overspray off?

I took the wheels off the car and just did one at a time. I used 3x5 index cards simply overlapping tucked between rim and rubber to keep overspray off the actual tire (pretty ingenious huh?...lol). here is a pic......

That's the best part. No prep other than just clean them real well. I just used a alloy rim cleaner/degreaser from your local autoparts store. then dry them real good and spray 2-4 coats on each wheel with at least 30 minutes between coats. Then I let them dry a couple hours and stuck them on. They came out great. It's actually a super tough hard rubber like coating. They look really good in person:)

I have also already had these wheels covered in road salt and have blasted them twice with a pressure washer and they rinsed great with no effect whatsoever to the wheels
