My 2010 Prius IV is 8 Weeks Old Today

    My 2010 Prius IV Blizzard Pearl is 8 weeks old today! :cheer2:
    Also, today I have reached 2,000 miles exactly! Yaayy. I feel like it is my birthday once again -- I spent $32.84 less for gas today than I would have spent with my 2007 Nissan Altima! Gas today is $4.19 per gallon. I averaged 48.15 mpg (my highest so far) and only spent $23.34. If I still had my Altima, I would have spent $56.18 -- thus a savings of $32.84 (weekly) for the same amount of miles driven! I am learning pulse and glide very well and anticipate stops and traffic lights in advance and still keep up with rush hour traffic. I smile all the time when I drive my Prius.:)

    You're saving $1,700 a year on gas, or $142 / month. Can't go wrong there! That's free insurance and registration and a couple hundred extra, over the Altima.
