My coastal EV switch wasn't working

I installed the coastal EV mod a couple of months ago and it worked fine for a few weeks, then it began to intermittently not activate (without 3 beep denial). Finally last week it quit working all together, so today I took apart the dash to redo/check the connections and discovered that the entire plug had worked its way partially loose.

The CC still worked, no CEL on, car functioned normally but the plug was about 1/8" from being fully in. Popped it back in and EV worked fine.

Is it possible that the loose plug only lost the connection on one pin?

I've been experiencing exactly the same condition (though not a loose connection I think). It may be a startup condition, perhaps related to a high temp criteria suggested in the following thread: http://priuschat.com/index.php?act=ST&f=19&t=30611

Once cool (like in the morning here), it worked fine -- as it does on most days.

Are you getting 3 beep deny?

One thing just crossed my mind, I wonder if the area of the switch where the wires come together was pulled by the opening of the glove box.

Not a peep. Was driving me crazy. Finally just chalked it up to high temps since it usually works and only has not worked when it has been hot and/or working hard.
