My First PIP fill up, Happy New PIP owner!

    You know, you never know for sure until you experience it with your own eyes. Wow what a great MPG Car!

    Here are my first fill up stats:

    522.6 total miles
    7.7 gallons pumped
    2 pips showing on gauge
    67.8 hand calculated mpg
    68 mpg Trip meter
    32 Avg speed Trip meter

    From the EV/HV monitor
    160 miles on EV
    30% EV
    30 kWH used
    2.5 gal saved
    365 miles on gas
    7g gas used per monitor
    Hand Calculated gas only miles 47.4

    :)Congratulations. Depending on your situation, your miles per tank will only increase. I've have two 2000 plus mile tanks in my first year. Even with more HV driving, my current fill up is at 1100 miles.

    It gets to the point where you actually have to think about which side of the car the gas cap is on before you pull into the station :D

    And in NJ, it gives the gas station attendant two choices of where to try and stick the nozzle.

    Grats FireDoug,

    I just got mine a couple of weeks ago. I don't think i've has a much fun driving a car as this before. least not since my MGB back in High School.

    That 79 MPG from Temecula to Irvine over the Ortega (saw you're from Corona, so figure you know the area) almost freaks me out. Averaging 63 over all.
