For personal reasons I need to go every weekend to the lake near here. I usually take the ring road, then country roads and get an honest 2.8 l/100 km (84 MPG) and 50% of the battery, to do the 80 km (50 mile) trip and return. Now that I am alone, and have the time, I did a few (4 returns) hypermiling, crossing the city, managing the electricity and hypermiling, but keeping the posted speed limits (which are low). This is one of my best results, but I (and the car) am very consistent.. This is a snapshot of my Hybrid Assistant, when I got there: That is, in freedom units, 42.85 miles with 20.4 Fl. Oz which equates to 267 MPG On my return trip I did slightly better: 273 MPG. Regardless of the fact that according to EPA my car should do 25 miles per electric charge (60 km according to WLTP), I'm getting 50 miles per charge.
