My Prius 1 Year Anniversary - Sort Of?

    Today is the one year anniversary of my 2004 Prius - sort of. I've been without the car for the past 5 weeks as it has been in the shop after I was rear ended (see saga at http://www.priuschat.com/forums/advice-for...tml?highlight=)

    Though the data is slightly skewed by the lost time, you can see all my one year stats at www.enerjazz.com/prius. A few highlights from year one:

    Gas Mileage: 52.0
    Gas $ Saved: $490
    Net Tax Savings: $550
    Miles on a tank: Avg-484, Max-569, Min-417
    Total preventative maint cost: $63.84

    Best car upgrade: Addition of a Kenwood KSC-SW1 subwoofer to the base sound system.

    Enerjazz, I think this calls for a celebration. Repair shop or not, your Prius is one year old! If you were in the hospital you wouldn't stop aging nor would you push back your birthday.
