My son named it Lucy

    My name is Charity, I live in the Charlotte, NC area and am a proud new owner of a Silver Pine, Bisque interior, 2008 Prius...purchased just yesterday and my son has already named her Lucy. I'm thrilled to be driving a hybrid after giving up both a Honda Element and Dodge Dakota. My husband was already ahead of me with his 1983 Mercedes diesel that he converted to run on vegetable oil.

    Why and when did you give up the Insight? And when did your husband convert the Mercedes? Sounds really interesting.

    Now you've done it. I went and Googled "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and uncovered the William Shatner video. I wish I hadn't. :eek:
