    I drove it home from Lancaster today - an 80 mile drive. It arrived early, despite the expectations of delay at port. I stopped in Los Feliz to take some pictures of the Prius at Barnsdall park (where the Frank Lloyd Wright home for Ailene Barnsdall was built) good photos.

    I will post some photos on Saturday!
    It's a 2005 White BC Package with Gray Interior.

    Im very pleased.

    Happy for you, Rob, have fun, drive safe, watch out for the other poor unfortunate non Prius vehicles where the drivers are not enjoying their driving and thus are more prone to causing accidents.

    You mean like the guy at 6:45 this morning who didn't think 35 in a 30 mph zone was fast enough? He actually looked like he was going to pass me on the right on a 2 lane road. It's illegal by the way. I pulled to the right a bit to make sure he didn't really do it. Hell, he could have legally passed in the left if he wanted, there was no oncoming traffic. I could seem him being a bit ticked if I were crawling up to speed at every stop or something, but I wasn't.

    Indeed, many people do not understand that there's a speed limit for a reason. Besides the speed limit is a maximum. Nothing wrong with going a tad slower if you want to. People should leave their homes/work earlier so they aren't in a rush when driving.

    Since last week there has been some heavy rain in the morning a few days in a row and of course there are tremendous traffic jams all of the country. People also do not grasp the idea of cars in wet weather having a longer stopping distance it seems.

    * roll eyes *

    I've wanted to be able to deploy Ben-Hur tire shredders from my cool Canadian mud flaps about a hundred times in the past week on the dangerous Washington DC beltway.

    The selfishness and abandon with which some of these chowderheads drive makes me want to ask them why they they do it...and then confiscate their license.

    :idea: Maybe we could earn PriusChat its first $million by inventing those shredders...but that could adversely affect our coefficient of drag, therefore our mileage...
