My volume knob stopped working on Friday of last week. Is there any easy way to take off the front of the radio to see if there is a loose wire?

Hopefully you are still in warranty... sadly enough only way to fix it is by full radio replacement. I had to do this a while back.

I have a stock radio (non JBL single disc). I replaced it with DNX6960. If yours is not covered under warranty and need it, pm me with an offer.

We are not under warranty and the steering wheel buttons still do work. I guess we will just hold out until something else happens to it and we have to replace it.

The knot can be pushed in to hide it. Have you tried pushing it in and play around with it?
