mysterious pocket in prius

    i saw this on the toyota global website. the prius RHD below has a pocket below the drivers side window air vent/side mirror controls. i am now trying to see if any other prius has this globally for LHD. i want one!

    I'd love to do that modification to hold my work badge (which is in the form of a CC), but is there a part available for models driven on the right side of the road?

    In the manual it says it's a credit card holder, but who in their right mind would leave a credit card on view in the car. I use mine for my club Toyota membership card.

    Its something to do with an automated road toll system in Japan. Not sure why we get it on our model but as they sell 300k Prius in Japan and 12k in the UK I suppose it's not worth them changing it.

    I keep my breakdown card in it (certainly not my credit cards though!).
