NAV Question: Can I have an icon on map for a saved address ?

    Hello,

    I have entered many saved addresses on my unit. Can I have an icon show on the map for these saved addresses? Thx.

    The answer is yes. I know I have my kids addresses displayed on the map. It is a text display not an icon. I would have to go through the procedure to remember how I did it but the answer is yes.

    I see you have a 2012 but the GPS portion of the Navs seem to be very similar.

    It may depend on what model you have. The Nav in Prius Three is pretty lame.

    From the 2010 Prius Navigation Manual you can add names and icons to your Address Book. Press Setup button on Nav and then go to Navi and then Address Book. You can give it a name or choose an icon for this address. The name or icon then appears on the screen.

    I have no idea how this can be translated to your Nav unit but maybe this will help.

    Can't seem to get it to work on my GPS. They must have removed this feature.
