I have a late 2005 prius with navigation DVD version 5.1. I understand there is new version 6.1 available. Does anyone know what the differences are and is it worth the expensive upgrade?

I have 6.1. I find that there is information that is at least 4 years out of date, even on the new DVD. I got it because I thought there'd be an improvement. Maybe there is, since I haven't checked every place I could, but my reaction now is probably not worth it. My 2005 came with version 4.2, and don't consider 6.1 that big of improvement even over it.

One change is that the NAV override that's possible to do on a 2004-2005 is no longer available. You have 3 choices after that, cut the speed sensor wire (and install a switch), get one of the new Lockpicks from Coastal or make a hybrid DVD with the 6.1 information and the 4.2 (or 5.1) loading data.
