need an ac relay

    we have another 2001 prius. our last one we had was in an accident in Massachusetts and was totaled. thank goodness i never dropped a grand into the ac system as that one was bad too.

    anyways, i need an ac relay for this car, and i dont want to spend $60 at toyota dealer for it. does anyone know the auto zone equivalent? as i remember there is a relay we can get for $18 that is essentially the same thing. i've searched and searched these forums with no luck.

    Can you take the bad one into AutoZone and ask the clerk, "Got one of these?"

    I was struggling with this, thinking "I thought the Prius was all DC, no AC" when suddenly it hit me: A/C = Air Conditioning

    I am an idiot.:confused:
