Next battery I buy will be the factory battery. My new Optima only lasted 2 years 11 months 3 weeks. I'm at the 2 years 11 months 3 weeks mark on the replacement Optima.

The battery that came new with the car lasted 7 years.

My Advance Auto Parts store lists the AutoCraft battery as $199.99 and it has to be shipped in.

Some of the comments on it indicate it does not fit well in the prius, other comments say it does.

OTOH, my replacement from the Toyota dealer was $200, fits perfectly has two-year-free replacement, including free installation, two-year free roadside help and an 84 month total warranty.

This is also my second Optima that only lasted about 3 years. Interesting.

$200 with free install at a Toyota dealer? That's by far the lowest I've heard by more than $100.
